Neil Young - Living With War:

I have offered a review of Young's anti-war screed, Living With War, on my Canadian Music Site The Singles Scene. Politically, I would disagree with the statements and tone of this album, but it is an important one none the less, in that Young is the first major artist to take a strong political stand with their work in a long time.

Like many who read here, I am fed up with celebrities shooting their mouth off about what's none of their business.

Shut Up and Sing is my usual motto here. But in a case like this I take a different view. If an artist wants to put their views into their work, put their money where there mouth is, then that's fine.

Although, have you seen ticket prices for their "Freedom Of Speech 06" tour: $50.75 - $251.25. The speech may be free, but the listening is pricey.
