I noticed the MPs (who were standing around me during the speech) stated tonight that the PM lost weight. Looking at your picture, it's really noticeable now!
Sorry CC, I didn't see you there. I had it in the back of my mind that you would be there, and did look around the room once or twice but nobody looked familiar.
Did you get in line to meet the PM? If you were standing at the front of the stage, my father-in-law took this picture. He was a big tall guy in a sweater.
I thought the same thing Matthew. As to why it matters, by losing the weight it takes away one more superficial club for his enemy's to bash him with. When you take away the petty things, sooner or later your opponents have to come at you on policy, a fight I'm guessing Harper thinks he can win.
It's for the same reason I always though PM Harper should wear his glasses more. He looks less 'scary' with them on, taking the scary argument away. More Laureen would have a similar effect.

I had noticed it in Question Period, but why should anyone be concerned with the PM's weight, as long as he is doing a great job.
Hey Hespeler, you didn't introduce yourself to me! (I think I was actually standing right in front of you when this picture was taken!!!)
